Volunteer directly for Salem Area Ministries

At Salem Area Ministries, we offer a variety of programs that serve our community—and it takes many hands working behind the scenes to keep them running smoothly. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of others, consider joining us as an administrative or IT volunteer. SAM is currently seeking help in the following areas:

Volunteer for our Clothing Ministry

Our Clothes Closet ministry, named for its founder Mrs. Dorsey, is a volunteer-staffed program that provides free clothing and shoes without referrals—offering compassionate support to individuals and families facing a variety of challenging life circumstances.
